In December 2009, Tatweer Petroleum – Bahrain Field Development Company W.L.L. Assumed duty for the stewardship and revitalization of the mature Bahrain Field and the execution of all activities associated with the petroleum operations under the terms and situations of the Development and Production Sharing Agreement (DPSA). The DPSA, dated twenty-sixth April 2009, became entered into between the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain and Occidental, Mubadala, and The Oil and Gas Holding Company.
As of July 2016, the Company is completely owned via nogaholding, which acts because of the steward for the Government’s funding in a different range of power-related corporations. Tatweer Petroleum is now liable for all upstream operations within the Kingdom, consisting of oil and gas exploration, improvement, and manufacturing sports, further to fuel distribution and income.
